If you are receiving your A-level results and preparing to come to Cambridge this autumn, congratulations. CUSBC is Cambridge University's smallbore rifle club, and we would be delighted to introduce you to the sport.
Most of our members had never handled a target rifle before arriving at Cambridge. Our supervised taster sessions begin with safety and the basics of the prone position, and the club provides the rifle, jacket, sling and other essential equipment.
We shoot .22 target rifles on Cambridge's own indoor 25-yard range, a short cycle from the city centre. Members can train recreationally, shoot in college and university matches, or work towards BUCS and Varsity competition.
Complete the 2026-27 expression-of-interest form now and we will send you details of taster sessions and other start-of-term events when bookings open. Registering interest does not commit you to membership.
